C'River Central: Senator Williams to embark on needs assessment tour

The Senator representing Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Sen. Eteng Jonah Williams said he would soon embark on a needs assessment tour of Central Senatorial District.
Senator Williams disclosed this in Calabar on Tuesday during an interactive session with newsmen on the possible ways to proffer lasting solutions to the needs of the people of Central.
Williams said that the tour became necessary to ascertain the needs of his people across the six local government areas that make up the Central Senatorial District.
"I feel that government is about the people and my people have given me their mandate, we are going to move around and ascertain all these needs and after my tour then I will be able to address them appropriately,’’ he said.
"In the same development, Senator Williams has received an outstanding performance award in humanitarian services by Officials Nigeria Magazine.
During the presentation, Williams was described as a friend of all in the society and the Award is in recognition of his outstanding contributions to human capacity development and selfless services to the growth and development of Cross River State and Nigeria at large.
Receiving the Award Senator Williams noted that many privileged members of the society like himself have been committed to philanthropy.
"This has been part of me because of my background and I can not stop supporting people, that is what gives me joy and fulfillment"--He concluded
