Ayambem congratulates new Deputy Clerk

hhhAYAMBEM CONGRATULATES NEW DEPUTY CLERK
The Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Elvert Ayambem has congratulated the newly appointed Deputy Clerk of the State Assembly, Barr. Catherine Ubi.
Ayambem who was speaking recently, during plenary, stated that Ubi's elevation was based on merit and urged her to work harder to justify the confidence reposed in her.
The Speaker also charged Barr. Ubi to synergise with the Clerk of the Assembly in order to deliver quality services to facilitate effective Legislation.
In a related development, the new Deputy Clerk, Ubi has expressed gratitude to God for her elevation as well as many other blessings.
Ubi was testifying during her thanksgiving at the Christian Legislative Fellowship of Nigeria, Cross River State Branch held in the Assembly Complex, Calabar recently. The thanksgiving featured, amongst other things, prayers for the the celebrant and her family as well as praises, dancing and the Word. Untill her recent promotion was the Director, Legal Services in the State Assembly. - Itam Offor

BREAKING NEWS: Youths of Ikot Ansa Nab Vandals Destroying Public Utilities, Hand Over to Authorities for Prosecution

  In a combined effort to curb the rampant vandalism of public utilities in Cross River State, the youth leader of Ikot Ansa, Prince, Victor Otu Iso JR, alongside his community, successfully apprehended criminals involved in the destruction of vital public infrastructure. The vandals were caught red-handed this morning, 13th day of September 2024, as they attempted to steal Amor cables belonging to state transformers at Ekpo Iso. Acting swiftly, the youth leader invited the Special Adviser on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe KSM, and his counterpart on General Duties, Barr. Ekpenyong Akiba, to the scene.
