Nigeria First Lady Remi Tinubu Pet Project Renewed Hope Initiative will bring succor to many families in Nigeria

Arising from the Meeting of Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Governing Board, The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu has assured Nigerians that her pet project, the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) will bring succour and relief to families in the country when it fully commences.
According to a statement issued by her Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, Friday, the First Lady who is also the National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, stated that modalities have been put in place to ensure a smooth take off of the project across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.
According to her Wives of the State Governors and local governments will be involved as the project is all inclusive for the entire federation.
The First Lady has taken cognisance steps to ensure beneficiaries will registered and verified to qualify to be considered for grants and empowerment so the right people are reached.
She said the Project will be funded through the unspent funds from the 2023 campaign purse after which we shall solicit for funds from private organisations, international donors and Non-Governmental Organisations.
“The programme will enable us to assist the vulnerable groups; we shall try to see what we can do to naturally meet their needs; she noted.
The First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu would meet with the wives of state governors on Friday 14 July where the modalities for the successful implementation of the project would be made public.
The Meeting had in attendance, National Vice Chairman of the Initiative, Mrs Nana Shettima, National Secretary of the Initiative and First Lady of Imo State, Chioma Uzodinma, wife of the Senate President, Unoma Akpabio, wife of the Chief of Staff to the President, Salamotu Gbajabiamila, All Progressives Congress (APC) National Woman Leader, Dr Betta Edu and Prof. Hafsat Ganduje who are all members of the governing board.

​UNICROSS Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening, Introduces 19 New Programmes

​The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially announced the commencement of its First Choice Admission Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session .
