Dr Janet Ekpenyong felicitates with Christians on Easter Day Celebration

Deputy National Coordinator, National Cash Transfer Office, Dr Janet Ekpenyong has felicitated with Christians on this year's Easter day celebration, urging all to live a sacrificial lifestyle in emulation of Christ's perfect life.

Dr Ekpenyong said, bearing the burdens of one another is the ultimate replica of this season's interpretation as she urges citizens to have faith in the government and collaborate in building a nation we all will be proud of.

"We have come a long way as a people and as a nation especially in a moment like this when the world is hit by tragedies, hunger and other humanitarian crisis , the only way out is to make sacrifices as Christ did by dying on the Cross and paying the ultimate price of salvation for the World.

As a Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we will continue to do our best to alleviate the situation of things and apply empirical solutions that will last for generations.

UNICROSS Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening, Introduces 19 New Programmes

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially announced the commencement of its First Choice Admission Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session . The university has also unveiled 19 newly approved undergraduate academic programmes across its campuses. According to an official notice signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs) Catherine Ndifon Osai, eligible candidates include UTME applicants who chose UNICROSS as their First Choice and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME.
