SENATOR WILLIAMS VISITS NYSC MEMBER WHO GOVERNOR UMO ENO IS BUILDING A HOUSE FOR THE FAMILY IN UGEP

Senator Representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, Senator Eteng Jonah Williams has visited the home of Miss Abang Marris, a female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from Ijiman, Ugep, Cross River State, who Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State is constructing a three-bedroom home for the parents.

Governor Eno’s decision follows a heartfelt viral video where Miss Marris returned to her parent's thatched house after NYSC to thank her dad for sacrificing a lot to send her to school instead of building a house.

Senator Eteng Williams who thanked Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State for his compassionate mind says this action alone cannot be quantified in monetary terms.

“The beauty of his action is that it is not aimed at scoring any political points rather it is aimed at strengthening the sister relationship between both states, Senator Williams noted.”

He added that Governor Eno has set in motion a shining example and he will also support Miss Marris and her family to find a place of pride in the society. He encouraged her to be an ambassador for the girl child education and be a reference point for other young girls.
