Senator's Wife Honors Child's Dedication Ceremony with Dignitaries in Attendance


In a heartwarming ceremony at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Jesus Sanctuary Atekong Calabar, Mrs. Imaobong Williams, the wife of the Senator Representing the Central Senatorial District, extended her esteemed presence to honor the child dedication of Mr. Butum Ubi Offum's beloved daughter, Miss Tosam-Eliana Butum Ubi.


Graced by the solemnity of the occasion, the officiating minister emphasized the profound significance of nurturing children in the ways of the Lord, underscoring their divine status as rewards from the Almighty.


Among the distinguished guests at the dedication ceremony were luminaries of both political and societal realms. Notable attendees included Mr. Yankee Bassey, the former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Rural Development Agency, Mr. Okoi Ibor Ibor, esteemed President of Adu, and Mr. Ubi Williams, former Chief of Staff to the Speaker of Cross River State. Additionally, Mr. Sampson Ijo, a former Senior Special Assistant on Haulage to the Governor of Cross River, graced the occasion alongside other esteemed personalities.


This celebration not only marked a profound spiritual milestone in the life of the Butum Ubi family but also underscored the significance of community and faith in shaping the future of the younger generation.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.  The visit centered on establishing a strategic partnership to protect and secure public utilities across the state from vandals and criminal elements.
