CDS GROUPS IN CROSS RIVER STATE CARRIES OUT NUMEROUS PROJECTS FOR HUMANITY

Community Development Service(CDS) being one of the cardinal programmes of NYSC has offered Corps members the opportunity to impact on their host communities through various CDS projects be it personal or group Projects .

In Cross River State, corps members carried out felt need Project for the betterment of the host communities and humanity.

The Freedom of Information CDS Group (FOI) gave the the NYSC Secretariat a new look by Constructing a 20 feet tall directional sign post to welcome corps members, staff and other visitors to the Secretariat complex.

Football CDS on the hand , donated sports items to the NYSC to aide the corps members in the CDS as they prepare for NYSC annual Sports and Cultural festival.

The SERVICOM CDS group was not left out as they donated waste baskets to assist corps members in the cleaning up exercise in the state.

Responding to these gesture, the State Coordinator of NYSC Cross River State, Mrs Oyenuga joke appreciated the CDS Groups for their thoughtful projects to humanity and the society at Large and called on other corps members to identify a project in their host communities in other to imprint the legacy of NYSC in those communities before passing out.

UNICROSS Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening, Introduces 19 New Programmes

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially announced the commencement of its First Choice Admission Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session . The university has also unveiled 19 newly approved undergraduate academic programmes across its campuses. According to an official notice signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs) Catherine Ndifon Osai, eligible candidates include UTME applicants who chose UNICROSS as their First Choice and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME.
