NPA Hails NYSC as Nigeria's Best Conceived Vision

 


The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA has lauded the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC as one of the most visionary initiatives in Nigeria's history.

Mr. Ekine Ibeifiri Alex, Port Manager, Calabar, made this assertion while receiving Mrs. Oyenuga Mojisola Joke, NYSC Cross River State Coordinator, on a courtesy visit.



"The NYSC has played a pivotal role in promoting Nigeria's rich cultural heritage and fostering national unity," Mr. Alex said, adding that: "The Scheme has successfully harnessed the potential of Nigerian youth, equipping them to build a more prosperous nation."

Earlier in her remarks, Mrs. Oyenuga expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized the NYSC's commitment to prioritizing Corps Members' welfare. She highlighted the significance of the NPA-NYSC partnership:

"The collaboration between NPA and NYSC is crucial for our shared goals of nation-building and youth development. The NPA's support enhances our ability to provide meaningful opportunities for Corps Members, fostering their growth and contribution to Nigeria's progress."

"The NPA's commitment to Corps Members' welfare is exemplary, and we appreciate your dedication to our mutual objectives," Mrs. Oyenuga added.
The visit culminated in the presentation of an award of meritorious service to Mrs. Oyenuga by the Port helmsman.
