Senator's Wife Hosts Cross River South Women, Children Christmas Party, Distributes Bags of Rice

Mrs. Nela Asuquo Ekpenyong, the wife of the Senator representing Cross River South Senatorial District, has launched a series of Christmas parties for women and children across the district.

The events, tagged Cross River South Community Women and Children Christmas Party, commenced on Wednesday at the Akamkpa Local Government Council, covering the Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency.

The celebrations featured a variety of engaging activities, including dance competitions, cake-cutting ceremonies, and gift-sharing, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere for all participants. A significant highlight was the distribution of hundreds of bags of rice to women across the Local Government Areas within the federal constituency.

The event was graced by notable figures such as Dr. Mrs. Nkechi Emil-Inyang, wife of the Federal Lawmaker representing Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency; the Immediate Past Chairman of Odukpani LGA, Hon.
