Sen. Eteng Williams' Rise to Political Leadership: A Divine Mandate Embraced by the People

Spotlight on Divine Purpose and Performance Scorecard In the divine order, God's criteria for lifting individuals to greatness often contrasts with human expectations. My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!” This echoes the story of Sen. Eteng Williams—often underestimated, yet divinely equipped for greatness. The very things some used to discredit him—his independence and humility—became his qualifications before God and the people. As the Word says, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” Senator Eteng Jonah Williams exemplifies humility and intellectual readiness. His second term bid represents not just continuity, but a real opportunity to unify and uplift Cross River Central. His lead...
