Dr. Adebayo Congratulates DG of NILDS for the establishment of new radio station.

‘TPI is here for collaboration. First, we congratulate you for  relocating from a temporary site to this expansive location. We’re also aware of your newly established radio station. We’re proud of your progress. And we come here to solicit a partnership that would develop our democracy. This is the mandate of TPI, And we believe you share similar mission’, TIP DG said.

Stressing the need to mentor Nigerian youths as agents of democratic development, Dr. Adebayo said, ' we complain of our youths not doing well but we neglect to talk about our role as mentors. The youth need to be guided alright. They need to be orientate and reorientated and this is why TPI is embarking on National Youth Mentorship Program.

According to the DG,  'TPI is working on Party Ideology for the APC.  The National Chairman will soon inaugurate the steering committee and this is expected to form the vision of the party's progress.

Dr Adebayo who describes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a genuine progressive minded person said the decision to remove fuel Subsidy was to free money from consumption and inject it into production. He added that, this  is why the states governments could get 300% increment in their allocation  which has made it possible for them to pay salaries in their respective states without resorting to borrowing.

"We can see the impact of fuel subsidy removal. The refineries are working and the economy is picking up. In a nutshell, I call on all well meaning Nigerians to join hands with current government so as build Nigeria of our dreams ",  TPI DG affirms.

In his reaction, NILDS DG, Prof. Abubakar Olanrewaju Suleiman welcome TPI with all enthusiasts. He hails the institute for providing intellectual base for the APC.  Professor Suleiman who is a former Minister for National Planning agreed that the duo of NILDS and TPI have similar mandate which according to him is to develop capacity of democracy and democratic actors.

"NILDS and TPI must interface because we're just one body that must work together. To build democracy, we must build institutions. If we fail to build capacity of emerging actors, the system will collapse. I'm happy you're working on Party Ideology because great political parties across the globe are ideology based. If a party scatters, it is because they lack ideology. People must not cross-carpet to win elections, they must be tutored. There must be training joining our the party, we must inject our intellectual virus into them to do things well. Not only to hand over to them flags. People should see APC as a serious party with intellectual capacity to develop the country", NILDS DG said as he welcomes TPI idea of Youth Mentorship, promising maximum support for TPI.
