Students of Holy Trinity College Calabar Surprises Teacher with Birthday Gifts




Students of SS2B at Holy Trinity College, Calabar, on Monday, March 16, 2026, pleasantly surprised their class teacher, Mrs. Josephine Trinity, with a heartwarming birthday celebration.

Speaking with Detailings News shortly after the event, Mrs. Trinity recounted how the unexpected moment unfolded. According to her, as she was about to enter the school gate that morning, one of her students approached her, exchanged pleasantries, and politely requested that she delay entering the classroom for a short while.

She explained that although such a request was unusual, she decided to oblige and waited for a few minutes. Shortly afterward, another student came to escort her to the classroom.

Upon entering, she was greeted with a beautifully decorated classroom filled with excited students whose bright smiles reflected their joy. The atmosphere came alive as the students burst into a melodious birthday song in celebration of their beloved teacher.

Mrs. Trinity revealed that she was deeply overwhelmed by the thoughtful gesture. The students presented her with several gifts, including cake, wines, a heartfelt note etc.

“These kids went beyond expectations, and it makes me feel fulfilled knowing that I am truly impacting their lives,” she said.

She further explained that the strong bond she shares with the students is rooted in the care and love she shows them daily.

“I love them and treat them like my own children, and that is why whenever they are wrong, I correct them with love,” she added.

Expressing her gratitude, Mrs. Trinity prayed for the students and wished them success in life.

“May the Lord bless them for surprising me today, and may He also surprise them and take them to greater heights in life,” she concluded.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr.
