WARD 9 DECLARES TOTAL SUPPORT FOR TINUBU AS OROK DUKE RALLIES APC FAITHFUL IN CALABAR SOUTH

 




In a resounding display of loyalty, unity, and grassroots political strength, Ward 9 in Calabar South Local Government Area erupted with enthusiasm as APC faithful gathered to affirm President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term ambition through overwhelming voice votes during the party’s presidential affirmation exercise.

The high-profile political gathering reached a fever pitch with the arrival of Rt. Hon. Orok Duke, fondly known as Otu-Ekong, whose presence energized party supporters and reinforced confidence ahead of the 2027 political journey. Addressing the jubilant crowd, the Federal Commissioner passionately canvassed support for the continuity of President Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing that another term for the President would unlock greater opportunities and accelerated development for Cross River State.

Rt. Hon. Orok Duke noted that with President Tinubu at the helm, Governor of Cross River State, Apostle Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, would continue to enjoy increased federal collaboration and support capable of attracting more developmental projects, empowerment initiatives, strategic appointments, and meaningful democratic dividends for the people of the state.

He further applauded the exceptional unity, organization, and political maturity demonstrated by Ward 9 under the leadership of Mr. Bassey Okpo-Ene. Describing the ward as a model of loyalty and teamwork within the APC family, he expressed confidence that the ward’s impressive support base and strong political structure would contribute significantly to future electoral victories for the party.

BREAKING NEWS: Youths of Ikot Ansa Nab Vandals Destroying Public Utilities, Hand Over to Authorities for Prosecution

  In a combined effort to curb the rampant vandalism of public utilities in Cross River State, the youth leader of Ikot Ansa, Prince, Victor Otu Iso JR, alongside his community, successfully apprehended criminals involved in the destruction of vital public infrastructure. The vandals were caught red-handed this morning, 13th day of September 2024, as they attempted to steal Amor cables belonging to state transformers at Ekpo Iso. Acting swiftly, the youth leader invited the Special Adviser on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe KSM, and his counterpart on General Duties, Barr. Ekpenyong Akiba, to the scene.
