Controversy has emerged following the Cross River State rally of Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria held in Calabar over the weekend, as concerns were raised about the alleged sidelining of Honourable Shedrach Egede, the National Director of Strategic Deployment and Implementation of the organization by the Cross River State Cordinator, Engr Anjor Obande

According to sources present at the event, Honourable Egede, a national officer of the movement, occupies a key position with operational structures across the 36 states and the FCT, coordinating grassroots efforts aimed at promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda and the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration.

Sources further disclosed that despite reportedly contributing financially to the success of the rally, Honourable Egede was treated merely as an observer throughout the programme. He was allegedly neither recognized during the two major events nor given an opportunity to address participants and supporters from his home state.

The sources claimed that the exclusion was deliberate, alleging that Engr. Anjor Obande, the Cross River State Coordinator of the organization, viewed Honourable Egede as a potential rival and sought to maintain her position as the dominant face of Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria within the state and its connection to the national leadership.

It was further gathered that during the main event at the Dome, Calabar Municipal Council, the name and official designation of Honourable Shedrach Egede were allegedly not forwarded for recognition, despite efforts by one of his aides to ensure his inclusion in the programme. The development has generated discussions among supporters regarding unity, inclusiveness, and respect for national officers within the organization.
