LEBO MOVES TO STRENGTHEN APC UNITY IN ABI/YAKURR, VISITS MOSES OSOGI TO CHAMPION PEACE AND RECONCILIATION

 





In a remarkable demonstration of leadership, maturity, and political inclusiveness, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo, has paid a reconciliation and solidarity visit to Hon. Moses Osogi, Honourable Commissioner for Environment and fellow aspirant in the recently concluded APC primary election.


The visit followed Rt. Hon. Lebo’s emergence as the APC candidate for the 2027 House of Representatives election and was aimed at promoting unity, strengthening party cohesion, and reinforcing the spirit of brotherhood among party leaders and supporters.


During the meeting, Rt. Hon. Lebo emphasized that political contests are temporary, but the collective responsibility to serve the people remains permanent. He noted that while aspirants may pursue different political ambitions, the ultimate goal is the progress, development, and welfare of the people of Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency.


The discussions focused on reconciliation, peace-building, and the need for all stakeholders to close ranks and work together in advancing the shared aspirations of the constituency. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the unity and success of the APC, recognizing that the challenges facing the people require collective effort and purposeful leadership.


Rt. Hon. Lebo expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Moses Osogi for his warm reception and statesmanlike disposition, describing him as a valued brother whose contributions to the growth of the constituency and the APC remain highly respected.


Political stakeholders have commended the visit as a significant step toward consolidating party unity and fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect ahead of future political engagements.

​UNICROSS Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening, Introduces 19 New Programmes

​The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially announced the commencement of its First Choice Admission Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session . The university has also unveiled 19 newly approved undergraduate academic programmes across its campuses. ​According to an official notice signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs) Catherine Ndifon Osai, eligible candidates include UTME applicants who chose UNICROSS as their First Choice and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME.
