Senator Eteng Williams Brings Hope to Constituents Through Two-Day Empowerment Programme and Medical Outreach

Senator Eteng Williams, representing Cross River Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Abuja, is set to bring relief, healthcare support and economic empowerment to his constituents through a two-day free medical outreach and empowerment programme across Ikom and Yakurr Local Government Areas.

The initiative reflects Senator Williams’ continued focus on addressing the immediate needs of constituents while supporting their health, wellbeing and economic opportunities.

The first leg of the programme will take place on Friday, 2 October 2026, at Hotel 45 Hall, Ikom Local Government Area, where constituents will benefit from the empowerment programme alongside access to free medical services.

The second leg will take place on Saturday, 3rd October in Yakurr Local Government Area, with the empowerment programme scheduled to hold at Yakurr Council Hall, Ugep, while the free medical outreach will be conducted at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Mkpani.

The two-day programme is designed to adopt a dual approach: providing immediate healthcare support to constituents while equipping individuals and families with resources and opportunities aimed at improving their livelihoods.

Through the medical outreach, constituents will have access to essential healthcare services, while the empowerment component will provide practical support intended to strengthen economic resilience and promote self-reliance.

The programme is expected to bring together constituents from across the participating communities and further strengthen the connection between the Senator and the people he represents.
