UNICROSS VC Inspects Ogoja Campus Projects, Assesses Infrastructure and Development Needs

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), Prof. Francisca Bassey, has undertaken an extensive inspection tour of the University's Ogoja Campus as part of efforts to assess ongoing infrastructural development and identify areas requiring further attention.

During the inspection, the Vice Chancellor visited various project sites across the campus, including both previously abandoned projects and those currently under construction.

Prof. Bassey and her team carefully assessed the state and quality of work at the different locations, identifying areas requiring correction, improvement or further intervention. The inspection provided an opportunity to evaluate progress on ongoing projects while also considering measures necessary to optimise the available facilities and spaces.

The Vice Chancellor emphasised the importance of developing infrastructure that supports effective teaching and learning while providing staff and students with a comfortable, safe and conducive environment.

The assessment was also aimed at ensuring that available spaces and facilities are utilised efficiently to meet the University's present and future academic and administrative needs.

UNICROSS Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening, Introduces 19 New Programmes

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially announced the commencement of its First Choice Admission Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session . The university has also unveiled 19 newly approved undergraduate academic programmes across its campuses. According to an official notice signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs) Catherine Ndifon Osai, eligible candidates include UTME applicants who chose UNICROSS as their First Choice and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME.
