The Cross River State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Dr. Pius Edet Ankpo, has inspected the ongoing Prison Road project in Ikom Local Government Area as part of the state government’s commitment to monitoring infrastructure development and ensuring effective project delivery.
The inspection enabled the Commissioner to assess the level of work completed and evaluate progress on the road project.
Upon completion, the project is expected to improve road connectivity, ease transportation and facilitate the movement of people and goods within Ikom and its surrounding communities.
The exercise underscores the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure’s commitment to regular project monitoring, quality assurance and adherence to construction standards across the state.
Through sustained supervision and assessment of ongoing projects, the ministry continues to support the state government’s efforts to upgrade road infrastructure, enhance connectivity and promote socio-economic development across Cross River State.
