Tinubu Support Group South-South Deputy DG Celebrates Nigeria at 66, Calls for Unity and Renewed Hope

On behalf of the Tinubu Support Group, South-South, and in my capacity as Deputy Director-General, I warmly felicitate with the Government and people of Nigeria as we celebrate our 66th Independence Anniversary.

Sixty-six years after independence, Nigeria remains a nation of immense potential, resilience and promise. Our journey has not always been easy, but through every challenge, the Nigerian spirit has remained strong.

As we mark this important anniversary, I urge Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to the Nigeria we all desire to build. The message of this year’s celebration is particularly significant: moving from reform to prosperity and ensuring that the gains of economic reforms translate into better opportunities and improved living conditions for our people.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Independence Day message underscores the need to build an economy where farmers can produce safely and profitably, businesses can thrive, young Nigerians can access productive opportunities, and families can look towards the future with greater confidence.

For us in the South-South, this vision speaks directly to the aspirations of our people. Our region is blessed with enormous human and natural resources, and we must continue to support policies and initiatives that promote enterprise, agriculture, infrastructure, employment, investment and sustainable development.

To my constituents and all Nigerians, I encourage us to continue to believe in our country. Let us embrace peace, unity, hard work and patriotism, while holding firmly to the conviction that a better Nigeria is possible.

The task of nation-building belongs to all of us. As we move from reform and stabilisation towards greater production, opportunity and shared prosperity, may we each play our part in building a Nigeria where every citizen has the opportunity to live with dignity, pursue their dreams and contribute meaningfully to national development.

On this 66th Independence Anniversary, I celebrate the resilience of the Nigerian people and reaffirm my commitment to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda and initiatives that promote development and prosperity for our people.

Happy 66th Independence Anniversary, Nigeria!

May God continue to bless our great nation and its people.

Senator Eteng Williams

Deputy Director-General, South-South, Tinubu Support Group (TSG)
